New Corolla Altis is here
Toyota has just launched their new Corolla Altis and the new car is an evolution of the current model.
The mechanical specs are typical of Toyota, tried and tested so that should help to maintain the company’s record for reliability.
Most of the changes are in the cabin where it is roomier and you get higher specs in terms of climate control, multi-function steering wheel, high powered stereo and six-way adjustable driver’s electric seats
It uses an updated version of the current engine, retuned for cleaner emission but it suffers from a slight power deficit. Toyota claims that this however does not affect driveability. It comes with the same four-speed automatic and torsion beam rear suspension.
Prices start from RM102,000 to RM120,000

Imported in completely built-up (CBU) form from Thailand, five variants of the all-new Corolla Altis, will be available:

- Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8G
- Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8E Sporty
- Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8E
- Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6E
All variants of the new Corolla Altis are only offered with automatic transmission.
Five exterior colour choices are offered:
i) Silver Metallic
ii) Black Mica
iii) Medium Silver Metallic
iv) Beige Metallic
v) Greyish Blue Metallic
