The body arrived at the Wilayah Persekutuan Mosque in Jalan Duta at about 1.45pm and it laid in state at the multi-purpose hall for all to give their last respect.

Among those present was Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and wife,

Former PM Tun Dr Mahathir and wife, Finance Minister, Tan Sri Nor Mohd Yakcop,

Datuk Seri Shahrizat Jalil,

Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir,

Datuk Nazir Tun Razak, Tan Sri Rashid Hussain,

At about 2.30pm, the body was taken upstairs to the main prayer hall where it was given its funeral prayers.

After that he was sent to the Kampung Melaka cemetary in Batu 9, Cheras.
