Members of the Proton Clubs of Malaysia and the Perodua Myvi Club gathered at the premises of Bosch’s Automotive Training Centre in Petaling Jaya yesterday as part of a specially organized showcase by Bosch to share tips and insights on its range of automotive products and services.

Seeking to spread the message of road safety ahead of the upcoming peak Hari Raya travel period, participants were given a preview of how a standard car inspection is conducted at Bosch Car Service centres, and each walked home with service vouchers that entitle their bearers to free 20-point vehicle checks at any Bosch Car Service outlets nationwide.

“Proper car inspection and service is a crucial step before embarking on that journey home. As a technology leader in the automotive aftermarket segment, Bosch felt compelled to encourage members of the public to practice proper car maintenance to ensure a safe journey home,” said Woon Kim Hwa, General Manager, (Sales, Marketing and Service), Automotive Aftermarket, Malaysia and Brunei of Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd.

Participants were given a preview and demonstration of the latest range of Bosch automotive aftermarket products such as its Super Plus spark plugs and Eco+ Wipers, which are compatible with both Proton and Perodua vehicles. A unit of the Proton Preve, which features an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) supplied from Bosch, was also on display, with Bosch representatives explaining the benefits of this safety feature.

“Our network of 36 independent Bosch Car Service outlets offers car owners the best car service standards possible with the full range of Bosch automotive aftermarket products at their disposal. This ensures that our customers’ cars receive the very best care possible, which is doubly important for those long drives home,” said Mr. Woon.
