Proton Persona R spotted undergoing tests at Genting
Genting Highlands is a favourite destination among many motoring enthusiasts for a fun drive. It has a good combination of winding roads, slopes, and parked just at the right distance from the Klang Valley to make a return trip at just the right length for a satisfying drive.
Many of us from the motoring journalism fraternity regularly take our test cars there for a quick spin before writing our reviews. Just this morning, I headed that way in a Volkswagen Polo GTI, and it would seem that someone else here also sees Genting as an ideal testing ground.
There is little doubt that the vehicle photographed here is the highly anticipated Proton Persona replacement model. The two Proton personnel in the car were in no hurry to move along, as the car was ambling its way up at a pedestrian pace. No signs that they were doing any Lotus-tuned handling tests for sure.
